One of Silke’s fifty. Virtually black with a frothy, beige head. Aroma a mix of pine and toffee. Taste is full of resin bitterness. Finishes the same, accompanied by a dollop of chocolate. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, good chewiness. Good.

Clear orange beer, small head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, lots of brett notes, peaches, some tropical fruits, sweet impression, a bit funky. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, juicy, lemony, soft bitterness, funky, brett notes, little lemony. Aftertaste: funky, lots of brett, little bitter, gentle acidity, very lemony, acidic, bit oxidized, some peaches, marzipan, little dry, nice stuff, complex and fruity, some strawberry jam, very complex, lovely stuff!

Amber with a frothy head. Aroma of caramel, peaches and earl gray tea. Pleasant. Taste is less interesting, bitter with dried out resin and a touch of metal. Chewy body, balanced carbonation. Watery uptick at the end, which is further unbalanced by notes of raw alcohol. Drinkable but flawed.

33 cl. bottle shared with Hilde @ home, bought online @ Glutenvrije webshop.
Hazy dark amber with a white head. Malty caramel aroma. Sweet taste with a nice bitter malty finish. Possibly to this being a slightly older bottle the hop presence is underwhelming. Will need to re-rate anytime soon to fully judge it.

Bottle at home. Clear dark golden with white head. Lots of grapefruit hops, light caramel, baguette, light herbal hops with green leafy notes. Medium sweet and solid bitter. Solid medium bodied with a bit crisp feel. Brings me back to how beer used to be before everything became New England, this is nice.
