On tap at Cambridge Brewing, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of lacto, floral dry hopping and a touch of stone fruity sourness. Flavour is along the same lines, with a rather harsh floral dry hop character and a boat load of lacto. Not balanced too well and somewhat harsh. Meh.

On tap at Cambridge Brewing, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Nose is loaded with loads of peppercorn character, with subdued saison yeast and a touch of earthy rye. Flavour follows through, being dominated by the peppercorn character without much actual spiciness. There's some residual saison yeast detectable, but this is a peppercorn bomb - beastiefan2k would love this.

On tap at Cambridge Brewing, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out banana, light clove and a touch of cereal malt sweetness. Flavour is very clean, with light banana, clove and soft wheat. As far as hefs go, I'm down with this one. Decent.

On tap at Cambridge Brewing, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light corn, with crisp biscuity malt and straw. Flavour is crisp and punchy for a corn lager, with lightly sweet corn and crisp crackery malt. Clean and crisp. This is great.

On tap at Julian's, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out the tangy, citrus Nelson hops upfront, transitioning to the lacto. Flavour is along the same lines, with bright tangy citrus hops and biscuity malt. Hoppy and tangy. This is great.

Draught at the brewery, 4/29/18.
Bright, cranberry-tinted, beige-caramel with a great clarity and a beige head atop showing moderate retention.
Soft char and plentiful red fruit mix with light caramel and rich honey. A hint of tobacco and ash graces the finish, drying things nicely. Clean and crisp, with a wonderful balance and excellent display of malt and smoke.
In the mouth it's crisp, malty and dry with soft, tobacco and woodsmoke slowly building up on the palate, while vibrant red fruits punctuate the finish. Lightly herbal bitterness balances the creamy, honey-rich malts and carbonation is moderate and very engaging. Smoke gently lingers. No alcohol or flaw. Wonderful as always.

On nitro at the brewery, 4/29/18.
Opaque ebony with a dark beige head showing great retention, of course.
Great malt character with cocoa powder, nuttiness, vanilla and fruity coffee. Light acidity but nothing overdone or aggressive here. Clean.
In the mouth it's full of toffee and even banana, with moderate roast character balancing gently. Caramelized honey-like base malt leads to more toffee and chocolate on the end. Soft, creamy, gently bitter and very drinkable.

Draught at the brewery, 4/29/18.
Clear brass-to-bright-orange. Medium-sized, white head showing moderately-strong retention.
Smells very floral with rustic grains, earth, white pepper and light clove. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's malty with strong honey overtones balancing dry, black pepper phenols. Good minerality with light earthiness. Not getting any Nelson, however. Light acidity, though this is mostly quite mild and crisp. Some very minor clove in the flavor, with light bready malt, as well, but otherwise this is excellent, showing no alcohol or flaw.

Bottle: Poured a golden with a thin white head that dissipated fast and left whispers of itself. Aroma is fruity. Taste is sweet sugary fruit, light metallic hint, malt balance and yet sugary finish. Noper on this one!

From tap. Pours cloudy with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, straw. Slight eggy. Crisp hoppy. Bitter and lingering grassy hops. Bitter and slight toasted malt finish.
