clear orange, smooth offwhite head. fresh hoppy aroma, mild malty, faint herbal or spicy notes. flavor is bitter hoppy, belgian yesty. very heavily hooped and quite bitter belgianstyle ale. re-rate 2015-12-05 large bottle from ølbutikken or kihoskh. Very fruity almost juicy aroma at first, it then settles into a very bitter hoppy piny grapefruity aroma with some malts. Flavor is bitter hoppy, grapefruity, citrus fruit juice, yeasty, the yeasty flavors are a little bit like saison yeast, slightly sort of bretty spicy. rate bumped up a little, nice brew indeed.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a dense beige head. Rich sweet caramel aroma with rather perfumy hops. Rich body, loads of toffee and burned caramel with a solid hop bite. I love the richness and caramel here - nicely balanced by the hops. 100912

Draft at the source. Holy cow. Hazy golden color, flat. Aroma resebles sake much more than it does beer. Taste is strong straw, pale malt, subtle anise. Does not seem boozy. Holy cow.
