66cl bottle sample @ RBBWG 2013, courtesy of ThirstyBird.

It had a nice creamy tan head that left a thin lacing behind. It had a dark brown body. It had a generous roasted malt aroma that rose from the oats and barley flavoring. There were some dark fruits on it. I noticed a roasted perhaps burnt malt in the flavor with a touch of espresso. The palate was medium and it had a dry finish. Overall, this was a good American Stout that I would have again.

The appearance is brown with some red hues and a small off white head that leaves some nice lacing. The smell has some dark fruits and a malty aroma. The taste is the same with some caramel in it and slightly bready with some winter spices and nuttiness. The palate medium with a good carbonation. The finish seemed a bit sticky. Overall, a pretty good beer, easy drinking. I would have this again.
