Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 9/5/2015. Dark brown with next to no head. Sweet, malty beer, with some berry fruits and touch of hop in the finish. As the previous review states, not a typical example of a black IPA but fine.

Cask half pint at the New Inn, Gloucester. Served a bit too warm. Hazy brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, nuts and malt vinegar. Malty flavour with some sweetness, and light acidic notes of English malt vinegar. Probably "off".

Taste comprises more biscuit malt, toffee, raisnes, brown sugar. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough ESB.

Tried at the Royal Hop Pole, Twekesbury. Dark Amber brown, with a tan foamyhead. Very light aroma of fruit. The taste has light coffe and cocoa, with dark fruit, and a touch of toast.

Sampled @ GBBF day 2. Clear orange golden color, looks like apple juice, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, quite fruity, some peach and mango tones, lightly fruit bitter. Average body and carbonation. Pretty refreshing, not bad at all.

On tap at the Foley Arms Malvern. Mid brown with a thin head. Aroma is malt with light hops, as is the flavour. A nice light easy to drink mild beer.
