Cask in The Beer Engine, a Micropub in Skipton: 9th April 2017. Light golden pour, small white crown on top. Mildy hoppy with a semi-sweet malty undertone. All a bit subtle and understated. Refreshing enough and certainly a thirst quencher, just lacks a bit of ’oomph’.

Cask handpump, The Crown Inn, Stockport, Greater Manchester in the company of Lynn and Barry, Saturday 18th February 2017 A little soapy hops, soft, really soft in the mouth, not getting the Tequila but this isn’t bad despite the gimmickery. Soapiness comes through at the end as well, it’s just a simple golden, pretty good but not great. A6 A4 T6 P4 Ov13 3.3
