Caramel brown, clear, frothy off white head
Aroma of light caramel malts, touch of cereal, little on the nose
Taste of light soft caramel, light fruits, touch of cerak, easy going, soft light malts, not that malty overall though but ok
Palate - Light body, bit oily. Finish - soft bitter english hops, soft malts
Overall - Standard English bitter, now’t exciting, but nothing bad about it either

Bottle. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy nutty aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. oily palate.

On the 3rd Oct 2013 my wife and I had 22 half-pints between us at the 35th Telford Beer Festival: this was one of those 22. Hand-pulled (on of 34 to choose from): pale golden body with a thin white head on our pour. The nose and taste were delicate and hoppy: herbal, floral and almost perfumed in nature. Nothing overpowering or strong to pontificate about, but a pleasant if unassuming brew.

500ml bottle. Wonderful clear red colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity and malty aroma has notes of red and blue berries, plum. Taste is minimally sweet malty, fruity, hints of red and blue berries, cherries, dry, minimally grainy and chaly finish; light body.

Half-pint, gravity pour at the 1st Hodnet Sports and Social Club Beer Festival on 17 Aug 2013. Golden brew with a really poor head, a hint of a wisp is all I got. Mildly citrus in the nose and taste: not a lot going on, could have been any of 100 different golden citrus brews that are flooding the market currently. I’m sure it’s well made and uses the finest ingredients, but I’m fed up with this style of beer!

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2012, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted. nutty ppel, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, fruity, light earthy - nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120808]

Pours dark brown, almost black with a bubbly white head. Aroma of roasted malts, some sweet cooca and syrup notes and hints of chocolate. Taste is smooth, sweet and chocolatey with hints of roastiness and syrup. Finish is a bit messy with hints of cocoa and roastiness. Unbalanced, not very good.

Aroma has berries, some roasted notes, lactic acid and cocoa. Flavour has woody notes, lactic acid, some nuts, cocoa and hints of semi‐dark chocolate. Some hops with gooseberry bush in the finish. Decent.

50cl bottle, bb 01/14. Clear golden, thick white head. Citrusy nose, fliral and bisquity. Flavor has citrus, mild hops, bisquits, honey sweetness. Thin body. Very refreshing, ok golden ale.
