Description
To create new and unique beer styles that challenge people's perception of beer. In short: to create true Craft Beers.

The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.

Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, straw, lemons, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, lemons, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Lacks a lot of things, glad that Ryan made a great beer out of Seasoned Veteran.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours mostly clear, vibrant gold, highly effervescent, with a large, pure white froth. Inviting aroma with lots of dry, pithy citrus, slight piss. Light sweet flavor with flinty mineral dryness, further pithy fruits, lots of grapefruit, melon, simple pale malt foundation. Light bodied with average, caressing carbonation. Clean and dry to finish with citrus rind bitterness, understated pale malt sugars, minerals, grapefruit, faint urine, tangerine, lemon. A great sessioner. Well balanced and quenching.

Key keg at Pig’s Ear beer festival 2013, Hackney, London. A golden coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Yeasty, spice, citrus aroma. Tastes similar, yeasty, citrus, spice, hoppy, slightly bitter and clean. Nice complexity. My first Brew by Numbers and bloody good it is too.
