Bottle - Big boozy notes, tons of vanilla and a bit of chocolate. Jet black with a light brown head. Nice sweet vanilla and bourbon notes, with some cocoa and a long finish. Bit boozy but ok

Nitro tap. Pours opaque black, large tan head, creamy and lasting. Aroma is roasty first, then hints of cocoa, toffee. Flavor is, OK, there’s the coconut, mega coconut, cocoa, lactose, roasted malts. Lightish body, but creamy. Light plus sweet and bitter. This is a good one. Drink it.

Tap. Pours clear orange, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is huge floral honey, Mead like. Flavor is quite sweet, loads of honey, floral, light herbal touch. Oddly little barrel influence here. I would totally buy this as a semi sec Mead. But as a 10% beer, not where it’s at. Moving on...

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a tiny beige head. Aroma brings out fairly complex bourbon barrels, followed by roast and wood. Flavour is likewise very complex, with wonderful bourbon barrels upfront, followed by cocoa and and a touch of alcohol. Barrel aging is done here to perfection. Everything is great balance. Wonderful.

Craft Clerkenwell. Bottleshare. Thanks to Manny G. Opaque dark brown beer, small dark tan head. Palate is smooth and softish. Decent fine carbonation. Soft dark malts but rich. Good dark chocolate. Spice. Bourbon soaked dark fruits. More spice. Smooth finish. Rich, well joined up and tasty.

Bottle thanks to Manny G for sharing. It pours jet black with a small tan head. The nose is intoxicating, sweet chocolate, toffee, something artificial, toasted banana bread, tapioca, vanilla, toasted coconut, sweet bourbon and just a touch of green vegetables. The taste is slick, bitter - sweet, oily, dark chocolate, vanilla, toasted coconut, cacao nibs, mild acidity, tar, coffee liqueur and sweet brown sugary action with a slick finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth-feel. Not exactly subtle. Pretty good, but not exactly a highbrow beverage.
