Description
Classic infusion brewed beer from @SheffieldTap, and decoction brewed beer from @TappedLeeds.

Established in 2012, making use of newly renovated space in the Sheffield Tap. The Tapped brewery is a 4BBL (Brewers Barrel) kit. The Hot Liquor Tank, Mash Tun, Underback and Copper are all insulated and copper clad. There are two 2000 litre closed conical fermenters behind the brewery, these allow us to brew the same beer on two consecutive days and ferment them in the same vessel. The fermenting room to the side of the brewery houses a further four 1000 litre fermenters for single brews.

Caramel brown, simple brown caramel flavours, not a dark mild, noted finish was a bit astringent....will re-rate

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours rich brown with a frothy, tan head. Good toasted malt nose with light chocolate accents. Light to medium sweet flavor with mild bitter earth, some burnt meat, light char. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Great balance to finish with dry chocolate, moderate roast, mild earthy bitterness. Solid low ABV session stout.

Golden-amber. Sweet caramels and golden syrup, light hop florals but overall malt-accented. Ok brew, getting strong for a bitter.

Light tan, mellow hop aroma, but more assertive on the palate - woods and farmland, but with more of an American hop dose.

Keg at Tapped Leeds. Murky yellow pour, into a Schneiderweisse vase, which I’m always gonna like. high carbonation, clove and banana nose, wheat, bread, all the good stuff. not sure why they bothered with American hops, because this is all about the wheat and yeast.
