Handpull cask at the Elm Tree. Dark gold or honey brown. Take your pick. Not quite clear. Smells of TCP and fresh grass. Taste is sweet and herbal with notes of bay and caramel. Smooth finish. Good but odd. More odd than good.

Cask at the Elm Tree, Cambridge. As dark mild. Pours very dark brown with a lasting tan colour head. Aroma is very peaty, smoked, roasted malt, chocolate. Medium sweetness, dry roasted bitterness. Medium bodied, thick texture. Getting past the initial smoke/peat this was very drinkable.

Cask at the Hope and Champion, Beaconsfield. Poured s hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is floral yeast, light citrus, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light fruity, slight medicinal yeast palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not at its best I feel.
