wow........aroma of citrus, honey, and malt. mouthfeel is thick, and sweet. nice and sweet, full of dried fruit, excellent of of my fav belgians.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso alcolico e sottobosco. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera è elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è molto elevata e la durata è persistente. Il gusto è molto piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di caramello, miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, agrumi, castagna, erbe aromatiche, frutta passita, uvetta bagnata nel rum e alcol presente.

Aroma of wheat, yeast, fruits, spicy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Definitely a superior Witbear, more of an aroma than usual for the style.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal frumento. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido appare velato. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è medio in buon equilibrio con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, frumento, frutta secca e agrumi.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dall'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta velato. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono anche la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è normale e permane in maniera sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, pane ed erbaceo.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is yeast, ripe fruity notes, candied fruits, pretty strong spices, malt, touch of ripe banana, some alcohol and sugar. Flavour is sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Not without merit, some nice fruits in the aroma, but a bit too heavy on the candied, spicy and sugary notes, and the touch of booze doesn’t help.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, toffee, raisins, spices, yeast, sweet dried dark fruits, touch of nuts. Flavour is sweet and lightly bitter. Body is above medium. Quite good, very smooth and balanced, complex aroma. Lots of caramel toffee, yeast, dark fruits. Surprisingly good, almost gives Abt 12 a run for its money, I dare say it’s more easily drinkable.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is brown malt with caramel, spicy yeast, clove, dried fruits, touch of nutmeg, toffee, raisins, nuts, brown sugar. Sweet flavour with a mild bitterness. Body is medium. Pretty complex and balanced, quite similar to the equally fine Brune. I'd love to compare them.

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is brown and dark malt with caramel, candy sugar, yeast, spices, dried red fruits, raisins, cognac, hint of cola and liquorice root. Flavour is big candysugar sweetness, body is just a little above medium. Very sweet and sugary, not as good as the Brune for me.
