Description
Founded in June 1999, in Milton, a village on the outskirts of Cambridge. In July 2012, Milton Brewery moved premises to the neighbouring village of Waterbeach, securing the future of the brewery, providing much needed expansion and allowing for further growth.
The Milton brewery is a traditional English Ale brewery, albeit lurking in the cunning disguise of a 1980s industrial unit. We take the finest English Maris Otter malted barley, high quality whole hops and local brewing water to produce our award-winning ales.

Cask at the Pembury Tavern, London - shared with Jack. Pours clear, dark gold with a creamy, off-white cap. Light toasty dough malt nose. More toasty dough in the flavor, along with some light berries and earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with brown bread and toasted sugars. Decent.

Cask at the Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Light straw coloured pour with a white glass hugging head. Slightly floral aroma, leading to a nice smooth bitter flavour. The palate is weak. A nice ale, but could do with some work to make it special.
