Cask at gbbf 2022 day 3. A clear reddish mahogany brown coloured pour with a a loose beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty vanilla, cakey malts, dried fruits, vanilla, buttery.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, harsh bark, woody, harsh, woody malts. Palate is dry tannin, grainy, moderate carbonation. Not great.

16/6/2022. Cask at the 30th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is citrus, hops, malt, stone fruit, light grassy edge. Quite sweet, light bitterness, touch of tart. Light to moderate body. slightly watery, quite flat. Not bad, but lacked a bit of body and life.

Cask at Coalheavers Arms, Peterborough. Sampled Feb 2016. Pours clear gold with a white cap. Aroma: pale malts, straw, some lemon. Taste: light sweet & bitter, biscuit malts, lemon, melon, grassy. Light to medium body with fine carbonation. Rather decent.
