Pictish Brewing Company is a small independent brewery established in April 2000 by Richard Sutton. Early in 2013 Richard decided to opt for an easier life and skive off leaving things in the hands of his old friend Paul Wesley. We brew a wide variety of high quality cask conditioned ales and deliver direct to the licensed trade in the Lancashire, Manchester and West Yorkshire areas.

Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2016. Golden-amber in colour. Has a sweetened hoppy taste with a bitter finish. Sugary in its nose.

Cask @ Station Hotel, Oakengates. Pours clear gold, some head froth. Light aroma. Taste is smooth, floral with a little citrus. Some fruit and lemon on the finish.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is spicy hop, orange citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth, light, tropical citrus, spicy hop palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Clear gold. Bubbly, lasting, white head. Soft, grainy, sweetish malts. Light lemon hop. Taste follows on from that. Light body, with some lingering bitterness.

Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Sparkling gold. Bubbly, lasting, white head. Soft toffee malts and soft peachy hop. Taste is light sweet, turning gentle bitter. Nicely integrated spice, and light heat. Smooth body. Chilli tingle. Finishes light, spicy bitter. Very nice.
