Draught at the brewery, 2/15/19.
Moderately to minimall hazy, with bronze and brass throughout. White head leaves a smattering of retention.
Somewhat pine laden with orange oil and light tea-like character. Interesting but for the pine. Light bubble gum and seemingly well-attenuated, cracker and light biscuit from the malt.
A bit mushy in texture, however, without any real snappiness through the middle or vibrant hop. Just honey and soft biscuit growing citric and piney and leaving a bitter, nearly astringent finish without any real juiciness or softness that you'd want. Carbonation is off slightly, very low and not incredibly engaging. A chore to drink.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Draught at the brewery, 2/15/19.
Bright, canary yellow to mango orange, moderately hazy with a small, white head that fades quickly to a ring.
Nose is juicy and fruity, quite tangerine forward, though less acidity and even floral character than just raw sugar. A bit vegetal at times, with strong bubble gum and honey. Seems just slightly too sweet, estery and perhaps old. Somewhat lacking in bright citrus notes that one would expect.
In the mouth it's more of the same; kind of overly sweet without much citrus brightness. Even the juiciness and yeast ester character begins to fatigue the palate. Low, mostly engaging carbonation and a fairly soft texture, but not all that refreshing or drinkable.

16 oz. draft at the source. Whoa, how much puree is in here?? The flavor is half juice. A basket full of tangerines with a hint of pith. Maybe a soft touch of pine as it warms up. No need for lactose in this bad Larry. I enjoyed sipping this and full pint worthy for sure.

16 oz. draft at the source. Hazy appearance. Flavor of citrus fruits; orange, tangerine. Mouthfeel is chewy with oats, yet soft. Juicy character with no bitterness at all. They got the New England pale ale down pretty solid.

Draft at the brewery, 1/15/19. Good clarity, dark and with a tan head that fades steadily to a ring. Licorice, dry fudge and dry toffee give an unexpected nose. Tootsie rolls come to mind but it's not sweet or even rich. Light alcohol, lactic notes and more peppery, anise-like notes see to that. Soft, fudgey-sweet and with strong pepper and roast on the end to bring back some balance. A bit disjointed and tootsie roll-like with more alcohol sharpness than Id like. Low, engaging carbonation and tons of peppery-anise lingering.

Draft at the brewery, 1/15/19.
Lightly hazy, brass-to-blonde. White headto nothing.
Juicy nectarine and light pear-apple is joined by some white pepper for a champagne-y good time. Malts add whitebread and biscuit to the equation, somewhat dully but attenuation is good and the yellow fruit character is great. No alcohol, resin or flaw.
Juicy and peppery, nicely dry with white bread and tight carbonation. White pepper and nectarine linger. Malt feels a bit dull and doughy despite the dryness but otherwise this is well-done.

Draft 1/15/19. Bright plum flesh, lightly-to-moderately hazy. Off-white head fades quickly to a ring. Strong mineral and funk ends on a very light but poignant tamarind-like acidity. Delicate plum is light but fragrant and well-attenuated and integrated. Nothing dominates, including the acidity. Juicy, tart, with peppery acid from the tamarind and almost floral-like plum that is both bright and juicy yet well-attenuated and soft on the finish. Cracker and biscuit provide structure in concert with tight carbonation. No alcohol or flaw. Restrained and flavorful.

Draft at the brewery, 1/15/19. Lightly hazy, drab plum. Beige head fades quickly to light cover. Clove, apple and pear give a spicy, dry, estery start and there's little currant to be found. Cracker, biscuit and brown bread seem well-attenuated on the malt side and gently bolster the dryness of the yeast character. Clean and nothing crude, as the clove isn't overpowering, but I'm not getting tons of interesting character, really. Quite soft and malty and it's nice to see the base malt shine strongly leaving no astringent yeast phenol or husky, overly bready specialty malt. Still not getting currant, maybe just a slight burst of acidity up front. Toast, honey, moderately fruity esters and light clove give a fairly basic, sonewhat uninspiring saison impression. But the malts are nice even if the yeast character is rather blasé. Tight carbonation, no alcohol or flaw and good attenuation. Nice red fruit character lingering.

Draught at the brewery, 11.16.18.
Ebony with magenta-chestnut highlights. Possibly a good clarity, hard to tell. Tan head fades slowly to a smattering of cover.
Pretty straightforward whiskey character in the nose with light roast and tons of pineapple coconut. Not nearly as complex as their previous BA strong ales on account of the malt not really integrating with the barrel/liquor notes. Just smells rather dominant. But still good. Alcohol well concealed.
Malty and with a lot of toasted oak contributing lots of pineapple. But it's just short of being too much. Coffee-like roast, espresso and plums with tobacco and spicy whiskey lending dryness. Some sweet caramel and chocolate yet it remains on the dry side despite the supple texture. Low but engaging carbonation. Not boozy at all though toasted oak and whiskey lingers.

Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7

Draught at the brewery, 11.16.18.
Clear brass-peach-golden. Small, dense white head showing strong retention.
Pretty standard mango-pineapple with heavily fruity esters and light bubble gum creating a fruity, moderately juicy NE IPA nose. Unlike many of them however, this one seems Very dry based on the nose. Barely get any malt at all. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's extremely fruity with a boatload of canned pineapple, overripe nectarine and papaya. Cracker and light pine on the finish with moderate bitterness and a big texture yet quite dry. Low, engaging carbonation. A bit twangy and surprisingly piney on the end but still well-constructed.
