Bottle from a now unrecalled source. Poured pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Light aroma of fruit, caramel and malt. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Light to medium body, average to soft carbonation.

Cask at Kings Head Bayswater as Kings Head Best Bitter 3,9 ABV. If its not this please let me know. I was told it was a Greeen King. Creamy White good mostly lasting head, Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter herbal flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle, 500 ml, from Svijet Piva, Zagreb. Pours orange with small white head. Malty, caramel citrus notes, sweetish, some bitterness in finish. Light to medium bodied.

Lichtbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht zoet met iets van geroosterd brood en karamel. Verrassend goed bier.

A proper, flavoursome English bitter. A low abv that seems at odds with the nice, rich flavour of malt and the bitterness of hops. This is one hell of a session beer and I really enjoyed it.
