Gold with a lingering, creamy white head. Herbal aroma, full of thyme, parsley and the like. Grassy too. A touch of aluminum foil. After some time in the glass, honey. Taste is bitter, grainy, and herbal the whole way through. Medium body, dry, moderate to prickly carbonation. Ok.

Tap at the 2019 Franconian Beer Festival. Hazy orange-golden color with a thick airy head. Lemony-orange, grass in the nose, with bread and biscuit. Lemony, prickly hops with cracker, maybe a touch of dms. Nice, prickly finish, peppery, straw, light strawberry and sulfur. Good.
