Bottle. Pale golden, a hint chill haze, white foam. Lightly eggy/DMS hay aroma. Medium light hayish body. Crisp hops on light chewy malt, unfortunately spoiled by the off-flavor - when it is simple everything needs to be right.

Binkert Bock, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Kupfergoldbraun, leicht trüb mit deutlichen Schwebteilchen; üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase bocktypisch dichtes helles Malz, Bierwürze, Karamel, Trockenaprikose und feine, dezent zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk satt hefeweich und ein wenig plump karamellig-hellmalzig mit feiner brotiger Note, Aprikose (etwas herb) und feiner herbaler Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig bis breit, gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang feine herbale Hopfenherbe, eingebettet in satte Malzigkeit. - Schöner, dezent hefiger, satt malzsüßer und mild aber aromatisch gehopfter Bock. Eine frühere Abfüllung (2014) hatte ich viel schlechter bewertet - vielleicht hatte mich die ostentative Harmlosigkeit verdrossen. (13.2.2021.)

500ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Malty and bready aroma with notes of sultanas and dates. Malty and slightly warming taste with rye bread, sultanas, toffee and dates detected.

Bottle from Hier gibts Bier. It pours clear pale yellow - gold with a small, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, grassy, peppery, herbal, doughy bread and cracker. The taste is firmly dry, crisp, nice quenching bitterness, fresh, peppery spice, herbal, cracker, grass, slightly floral and straw with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Lovely fresh and snappy beer. Good bitterness to it. Could crush a lot of this.

Bottle from Hier gibts Bier. It pours clear pale yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is grass, straw, light spice, sweet doughy bread, rich tea biscuit and twist of lemon. The taste is nice and crisp upfront, snappy, dryness, soda water with a slice of lemon, toasty grains, doughy white bread and grass with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Great beer for a hot day like today.

Bottle from Hier gibts Bier and drunk at home. Clear pale gold colour lasting white head. Tasty helles. You expect this style to be quite bland but this has some decent character as you would expect from this excellent brewery. Some malt and lemon on aroma. Some yeast. Some malt some decent late hop. Lemon. Biting a little. Really drinkable and refreshing. Good.

Bottle picked up from Feldkirchen, from Haussman, Getränkemarkt. Consumed at home Attenkirchen, Saturday 29th February 2020 in the company of Baz, Jude, Karen and Stuart. We're listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul show on 6Music and for dinner tonight we've got Raclette. Pours warm gold with a little sediment in suspension, sweetness, malty, a little boiled sweet. A gentle slow dryness at the end. Quite good.
