12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Dark brown, thin foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roasted malts, smoke, oats, almost a hammy note. The taste is roasted malt, smoke, oats, chocolate. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness, creamy texture. Solid beer.

Draught @ The Baroness. Hazy bright yellow with small foamy white head, faint citrus aroma, medium carbonation, hoppy taste with a hint of citrus zest, long medium bitter finish. Nice but not spectacular.

Quick bottle grab from whole foods to enjoy at home after crazy work week. Fine yellow orange pour. Nose is wonderful tropical fruit that my wife even enjoyed from across the couch. Tastes of florals, mango, melon, resin, some pine, and light candies. Sme malt on finish. Nice palate. Great value pickup.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a one finger tan foamy head that quickly dissipated leaving no lacing.
The smell started off with a bitter roasty coffee blend leading into a subtle dry cocoa background.
The taste was mainly roasty through the coffee with a gently rising earthiness. Grains (of the oatmeal) seem to allow a nice back up. Cocoa continues to maintain its background. Bitter and dry roasty coffee notes lead the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly nice sessionability about it. Carbonation maintains a nice background allowing the oatmeal to be the body. It feels nice for an oatmeal stout.
Overall, Otter Creek did what they’re supposed to for an oatmeal stout, not sure why its a sweet stout on here, but whatever to me. I’m looking forward to trying the nitro version.

Pours a dark brown from a bottle with a quickly dissipating khaki head looking like separated chocolate pudding (seriously!). After a minute or two it looks like flat cola. Roasty coffee notes in the nose, similar flavor but with a sweet/tart aspect too. Very thin, as most sweet stouts are I feel. Okay beer.

Pours an amber from a bottle with a white head, good lacing. Pushing the boundary of what isn’t an IPA. Hoppy aroma, hoppy flavor, some sweet malt. I guess it’s an APA. Good beer regardless.

Fresh can from Downtown Liquors refrigerator, drunk 8/13/15.
As I pop the top, initial hop notes seem promising, with leafy green, lush, fruity hop notes and light citrus. As I pour it, a bountiful, white head rises up atop a brassy-golden body, well-carbonated and showing good clarity. However, I’m greeted with a pretty distinct petrol-like character....Very, very domineering and definitely highly out of place. It takes over and pushes the light citrus notes aside...
The flavor is very phenolic, slick, and shows a big, rather malty-sweet body. The petrol/phenol thing is joined by some diacetyl and after one or two sips, it’s off to the drain....will certainly try again as I don’t see too much mention of it.

Found a light green stamped date at the bottom of the neck reads \"07/24/2015\"
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange color with a decent transparency about it. Foamy lacing occurs in rings after a one finger white foamy head dissipated after about a minute.
The smell starts off with juicy citrus and thick piney hops bursting with hop oils.
The taste follows the smell and leads into a nice thick juicy citrus/piney aftertaste.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability despite the bitterness of the hops in the taste and smell. With an oily thickness, this one really stays slick on my tongue to make a really nice session.
Overall, I may have found my go to APA in Vermont. Really good stuff!

Can from Bert’s slightly hazy deep yellow color with a bubbly white head. Light sweet bready maltiness. Melon hop aroma with an almost smoked or bacon quality that is odd and at times distracting. It took 4 cans of this before I though I had it figured out. I take a few sips and it shocks my palette a bit then halfway through the glass I’m kind of digging it. Interesting, but I didn’t like it enough to purchase again.
