2009 bottle. Darkest amber color. Aroma is cooked apples, red apples, honey. Taste is red apples, honey, cooked caramel, tannic. Very tannic mouthfeel, flat. Interesting, and very heavy for this ABV, really something else.

Sampled at pre-Borefts tasting. Very dark brown, no head. Sweet oxidized apple, sour apple, earthy, sweet and sour pear, dark sugar, blackberries. Medium sour and sweet. Over medium bodied. You really get the age, and it’s also quite sour. Quite OK overall.

Bottle shared at Pre- Borefts ‘19. Brown with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet red apple, tart green apple and woody notes. Flavour is above moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Shared at Pre-Borefts Tasting 2019. A clear orange brown colour. Aroma of riped sweet caramelized apples. Taste of heavy sweet caramelized riped apples, tannins, slightly boozy.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orangeish color with no head. Aroma is overripe williams pear, slightly oxidized walnutty, a bit schnapsig. Taste is walnutty pears, leather, light wood, but really sweet wine like. Oily mouthfeel, flat, incredible aftertaste. Excellent!

Bottle. Deep amber color with white head. Aroma is red apples, Bratapfel, candied apples, wood. Taste is bratapfel, candied stuff, very nice fruitiness, barrel sugars, light warming booze. Very viscous mouthfeel, awesome stuff!
