2016 version. Pours clear blonde, smell is mild whiskey, oak. Mild apple. taste is surprisingly dry. Oak, tanninic (very ) . Bit 'plastic' even. Mild apple. not very fond of this one. Bit wattery body. Notes of smokeyness.

Sample thanks to Danlo! Thanks chap. Pours clear shiny gold. Fairly rich nose, vague spirit warmth though not jumping out as rum especially. Oily palate, clean and almost silky, low carbonation, gently acidic, spiced apple notes, some soft vanilla.. again, rum doesn't really jump out though there is nice sweet alcohol emerging at the back of the palate. Quite nice.

6/10/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours rich clear amber/bronze with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of toffee, fudge, sweet apple pie, golden syrup, marzipan, strawberry, and a hint of spice. Medium plus sweetness and light tartness. Medium body, sticky texture, low carbonation. Sweet fruity finish with a nice tangy edge. Super sweet sipper. Very enjoyable.

Medium sweetness and light tartness. Moderate body, watery texture, low carbonation. Tangy, woody finish with a dry and bitter edge. Good but seemed to lack a bit of body.

Sample thanks to Danlo! Misty gold appearance. Aroma has caramel and rich apple fruit. Soft carbonation. Taste presents gently sweet apple fruit with a light tang, soft sugary element, gentle juicy apple fruit, light acidity, some mild apple skin, drying close. Decent overall.

750ml bottle with cork, from Scrattings. 2016 Vintage, 9.2%. Golden colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of wood barrel, oak, vanilla, bourbon, apple. Taste is sweetish and mellow, bourbon, woody, oaky, vanilla, formic note, with some tangy apple and spicy tannin. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.
