Medium brown color. Peppery, cherries, estery, mandarin oranges and a bit of sponge cake in the nose. Slightly tart, earthy character with a fair amount of hoppiness. Very well balanced, Slight to moderately bitterness with cherries and wood character. Great depth, great balance. Fantastic.

A deep dark stout with a thick dark mocha head. In aroma, a bitter chocolate with iodine, molasses, ashes and loads of alcohol. In mouth, a smooth bitter chocolate coffee, iodine, licorice notes, intense and warming. Tasted at GRMs tasting.

Bottle. Nose or orange, lemon, chocolate, crap. Thin-looking brownish-red. Flavor is milky, funky, with caramel, chocolate, lactic but with low sourness, just a light lemony tang. Refreshing and strange. The dark malt and sour combo make a weird but interesting marriage.

Dark brown color, dark cherries, raspberries with the smell of wood after rain. The body is very light with lemon, wood, caramel malt, light and refreshing. Totally different than any other beer I’ve tried. Very enjoyable. Mildly tart with lingering woody finish. Unique and interesting. Great.

The initial smell is good. Lots of tangy citrus hops. Pours a slightly opaque orange. Palate is light with a high carbonation feel. Crisp malty leave, light bitterness in taste. Tap at brewpub.

This pale ale is anything but common. It has a bit of a straw-like barnyard aroma. It’s got an astringent bitter to it that has almost a Gin-like quality. It’s similar almost to their saison, but doens’t come on as strong. It’s an interesting pale ale, but I wouldn’t call it common. Has almost a soda water-like carbonation level. On tap at Bellwood’s Brewery.

This ale poured a cloudy amber colour with an off white, slightly creamy head. No lacing. To the nose there are scents of citrus, hay and grass hops, cloves and vanilla. First sip was alot less hoppy than expected. Slghtly thin consistancy with flavours of passion fruit and grass. Finish is citrus and lightly spiced lingering.
