Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, quite dense lasting white head. Aroma: Yeasty, fruity pear, banana and stone fruit, malt. Taste: Malty, bit grainy, yeasty, fruity pear, some stone fruit and orange and hints of banana. Over moderate to medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Very smooth and quite dense mouthfeel. Nice complexity and not that sweet compared to a some other Tripels. Nice one.

Fles 33cl thuis. Fruitig, zacht, meloen, peer, wat banaan, licht citrus, grassig, malttonen, grainy, citrustonen, licht kruidig, bittertonen, zoettonen, licht bloemig, licht fizzy. Redelijk complex. Goede balans. Mooi bier. (2-1-2021).

Pours a hazy golden colour and a frothy white head with good retention. Aroma's of malt, sweetish, light spices. More or less the same retronasal, typical triple. Flavour is only light sweet, light bitter, a bit fruity. Medium bodied. Finishes dry and above moderate bitter. Does not disappoint.

Bottle from Geers. Hazy ochre, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, mandarin, canned pineapple, melon, young banana, breadcrust, yeast, clove, pear. Taste has sweet mandarin, pineapple, banana & apple, bittersweet orange peel popping up in a spicy middle next to hints of pepper & clove, typically Belgian yeasty-bready body throughout. Spicy, yeasty, grassy hoppy finish, lingering ripe fruit & orange peel, nicely warming gin-like alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. 'Craftbeerians', especially Belgian ones, tend to lament the release of another (spicy) Tripel, but this one ticks all the boxes in an elegant way. Still, it cannot beat Chimay & Westmalle Tripel.

Bottle. Excited to find a new Rochefort I wasn't aware of. Nose is butterscotch, Werthers, hints of caramel, orange peel, spice, slight dough. Taste is yeasty, doughy, lots of bread, grain, gently butterscotch, hint of vanilla, almost creamy, wheat, light clove and very faint banana, spice, hint of pepper, slight pear drops, floral hop bitterness with faint citrus in the finish. Pillowy mouthfeel. It's an enjoyable beer, not what I was expecting at all.

Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma dominated by diacetyl, with toffee, light spice and candied orange. Bone dry, malty and peppery spicy flavour with potential, but sadly overshadowed by diacetyl. (and I had this at home, a different bottle than dedollewaitor)

Bottle @ Local pick up. Pours hazy deep golden with a creamy lasting white head. Nose is sweet of Werthers echte and butterscotch. Spicy and yeasty flavor with cloves and butterscotch dominating. Wauw. What a let down.
