Bottle. Excited to find a new Rochefort I wasn't aware of. Nose is butterscotch, Werthers, hints of caramel, orange peel, spice, slight dough. Taste is yeasty, doughy, lots of bread, grain, gently butterscotch, hint of vanilla, almost creamy, wheat, light clove and very faint banana, spice, hint of pepper, slight pear drops, floral hop bitterness with faint citrus in the finish. Pillowy mouthfeel. It's an enjoyable beer, not what I was expecting at all.

Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma dominated by diacetyl, with toffee, light spice and candied orange. Bone dry, malty and peppery spicy flavour with potential, but sadly overshadowed by diacetyl. (and I had this at home, a different bottle than dedollewaitor)

Bottle @ Local pick up. Pours hazy deep golden with a creamy lasting white head. Nose is sweet of Werthers echte and butterscotch. Spicy and yeasty flavor with cloves and butterscotch dominating. Wauw. What a let down.

Bottle online from Beerhouseshop.be. Pours a murky deep mahogany brown colour with a large thick creamy beige head. Aromas of dry dark fruits, caramel, candied sugar. Taste is rich and full flavoured with more dry dark fruits, caramel, candied sugar, plums, vanilla, hints of leather and a touch of peppery spice. Full body, average carbonation with a smooth silky slightly oily mouthfeel. Sweet but not too sweet finish. Excellent balance. Alcohol extremely well hidden. Fantastic Quad.

Taster at gfs place courtesy of Sander, big thanks. orange hazy color, small white head. smells marzipan, spices, light cranberries, bit sweet, nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of marzipan, nutty, spices, herbal, chlorophyl, tobacco, earthy. finishes dry and medium bitter with notes of herbs, tobacco and some peppery notes. hmm, dont like the balance on this, bit weird bitterness, does not work so well. overall drinkable.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra Oosterhout. Hazy golden with a white head. Caramel, candy sugar and fruity yeastiness. Sweet taste with a low bitter finish. Excellent tripel, maybe the body could be a bit ticker and the finish a tad longer but this is easily on of the best tripels around.

Bottle online from Beerhouseshop.be. Pours a hazy light caramel brown colour with a medium sized throthy off-white head. Light aromas of caramel, floral and dried fruits. Taste is very similar to the aroma with the same notes again with added hints of butterscotch, tea and some peppery spice. Medium body with a very lively fizzy champagne like mouthfeel. Not too much deep flavours but a nice well made beer all the same.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours cloudy golden - yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft and bready initially, cereal, toasty grain, fragrant, orange peel, floral, melon and some herbal accents. The taste is dry, quite crisp, good hit of bitterness, spicy initially, bready malts aplenty, toasty honeyed grain, cereal, fragrantfloral, orange peel, apricot, warming spice, melon, pear drops as it warms, madelines and a touch of almond with some warmth through the finish. Medium+ body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. A well crafted tripel. Great body, flavour and balance. Moreish.
