330mL bottle. Pours clear deep brown with minimal head. Aroma has a ton of sweet cherry with some herbal and caramel malt notes. Flavour has a lot of sweet cherry, some burnt caramel and herbal notes. Carbonation could be stronger. Very medicinal; leaned too much into the cherry flavours.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a tiny beige head. Aroma reveals tons of cherry, cherry liqueur, candi sugar, perfume, and booze. Flavour is intense, with lots of cherry cough drop, cherry liqueur, some perfume, booze, candi sugar, and brandy liqueur. A bit too syrupy and medicinal in the cherry department. Boozy and cough drop-like. Not the greatest base beer as usual, and the barrel can't rescue it. Still, decent.

330mL bottle. Pours murky brown with no head. Aroma has big notes of brown sugar along with dark fruit, vanilla, and dark chocolate. Flavour has notes of lightly roasted malts, dark candied fruit, burnt vanilla, and dark chocolate. Has a slight astringency and boozy warmth. Mouthfeel is quite smooth; could definite have more carbonation. Overall really good.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with no head. Aromas of rich bourbon, graham cracker, raisins, soft vanilla, and caramel malts. Flavors of raisins, caramel, bourbon (more the intense Fitzgerald than softer Heaven Hills) and sweet toasty malts. Full warm finish; maybe a bit boozy. Very good.

14.16%. 330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with no head. Aromas of chocolate fudge, sweet bourbon and brandy, plus vanilla and slick roasted malts. Flavors of sweet apple brandy, chocolate syrup, vanilla and rich roasted malts. Warm finish with a hint of dark cherries. Very nice.

Shared bottle @MBCC2023 afterparty. Nearly clear, small beige head. Mild dried fruit and whisky aroma. Sweet boozy flavour, strong alc and hops bitterness. Sweet, caramely and boozy finish.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with floral coffee notes and dominant vanilla extract notes and residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with floral coffee notes and unpleasant vanilla extract notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation with no discernible alcohol notes. Way too much vanilla extract.

250mL can. Pours deep dark brown with minimal beige head. Aroma sweet toasted malts and dark fruit. Flavour has bready malts, orange rind, dried stone fruit; some floral notes as well. Good woody flavour. A bit boozy on the finish. Smooth mouthfeel. Great beer.

Hazy. Pale brown, no head. Soft, the phenols from the quad dominate the nose but are tempered somewhat by the rich maltiness of the munichwine. Toasty richness and alcohol in the finish. Definitely more phenols than I am comfortable with.
