On tap at Threefold, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is fairly tepid on the terpene, with mostly rustic saison yeast coming through, maybe some dankness if I squint. Flavour is much the same, with lots of rustic saison yeast, barely a trace of terpenes, and some gentle toasted graininess. Nice rustic saison yeast character as per the base. Very good.

Keg at Northern Monk Refectory, Manchester. Pours near clear gold with cream foam. Aroma: saison yeast, white grape. Taste light to moderate tart, musty grape skins, some stone fruit type notes. Medium body with spritzy carbonation.

Poured from 750mL bottle (wanted to bring something on my work trip to Bella Bella knowing I wouldn't find any good beer there). Hazy dull amber orange with small white head. Nice plummy tartness upfront, light saison yeast in the background with just a hint of rye, could probably use some extra time to sit in the bottle to mellow and add some more complexity.

Apr 04, 2026 after midnight (9/4/9/4/17=4.3): Poured from 330mL bottle. Very dark brown with minimal light beige head. Nice bourbon and cognac barrel, boozy but blended nicely,

May 29, 2025 (9/4/9/4/17=4.3): Poured from the tap @ Threefold w/Oakes. Dark chestnut brown with no head. Mild dark fruits, nice balanced barrel character. Just a touch of heat so smooth, but dangerous ABV level. Enjoyable.

On tap at Threefold, pours black with almost no head. Nose is full of deep coffee, a touch of tonka beans, and deep bourbon barrels. Flavour is complex and wonderfully integrated, with deep barrel character and coffee dominating, accentuating by a touch of tonka. Moderately sweet, moderately boozy finish. Wonderfully done.
