On tap. 12.25% Pours a very dark brown with a couple of bubbles. Aromas of sweet bourbon, oak. toffee, dark raisins and big toasty malts. Flavors of candi sugar, dry caramel, raisins, oak, a bit of bourbon and toasted malts. Not getting the esters noted by others and ABV is different, so maybe a different batch. Very nice.

On tap. Pours black with moderate nitro head. Aromas of creamy coffee and roasted malts. Great visuals with nitro but muted aromas… Flavors follow same but with some plastic-y notes. Not getting much of the barrel mix.

Nitro pour at Threefold. Pours nearly black with a beige nitro head. Roast, brown sugar, and light bourbon barrels on the nose. Flavour has nice roast, good bourbon barrel character, some dry dark sugars. I was a bit dubious of the concept, but it has solid barrel character while maintaining drinkability. Nice.

On tap at Threefold, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is dominated by the gin barrel, with the quince and bugginess taking a major backseat compared to the standard Quince Graf. Flavour is likewise dominated by a pungent, floral, gin botanical character, with mild spiciness, followed by intense quince core. The gin barrels definitely work with the base graf, but there’s a level of abrasiveness that holds this back from being exceptional.

On tap at Threefold, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals a nice bugginess that melds well with the dry, musty quince skins. Flavour is quite tart, with intense quince core—was not expecting such pungency—with some gentle bugs, light hay, and some toasted grains. Finishes very tart and dry, with that intense quince core dominating. Certainly a unique concoction. Mildly enjoyable.

500ml @ Brian's shared with Phill.
Aroma: funky, a lot quince.
Taste: at first it has some weird farmhouse notes, but then they disappear replaced by funk and fruit. Semi dry.
Overall: good one (much better than a sample on tap, as per Phill).

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with little head. Aromas of boozy bourbon, rich amburana, vanilla, chocolate syrup, cinnamon, and slick roasted malts. Rich flavors follow same with additional sweetened figs. Fairly hot finish. Overall excellent, and worth the steep price.

On tap at Threefold. Pours hazy pale gold with a white head. Tons of ginny juniper berries and tart quince on the nose. Flavour has fairly juicy quince, low-to-moderate tartness, a healthy dose of juniper berries, and light acidity. I like how this comes together, the gin barrel works well with the quince and is pretty well-incorporated. A bit of time aging outside the barrel and I think this would be even better.

On tap at Threefold. Pours hazy blonde with a white head. Loads of quince and spicy saison yeast on the nose. Flavour is quite herbal with lots of bitter, slightly citric quince, spicy saison yeast. Profile as a whole is tart and rustic. Nice.
