Bügelverschlußflasche: Slightly hazy, golden coloured, mid-sized white fluffy head, breaking down slowly; sweet-grainy nose with a metallic tinge; light sweet-bitter flavour, medium malty body; bready finish with a tinge of sourness, some "medical" hops in the aftertaste. Liquid bread, but from a great factory............

(swing top bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a mid-sized creamy white foam. Slightly sweet grainy and strawy nose. Light bitter flavour, light to medium body, well-carbonated, creamy mouthfeel. Slightly grainy and buttery taste, also a touch of cardboard; dryish, light bitter malty and herbal hoppy finish. Drinkable, but not that great.

Pours brown into a weizen glass. Caramel notes. Off-white fluffy micro head leaves lacing as it very gradually recedes. Medium bodied. Caramel and some clove. Dry finish. Well made, but boring.

Bottle (donated by MoritzF): Pale golden coloured, small white lacing layer; sweet-malty, dardboardy, but also aromatic hoppy nose; sweet-bitter flavour, a bit sticky; short sweet-bitter finish. Not really a great pleasure............Typical german "Premium" stuff !

(bottle) Clear and dark reddish amber colour with a foamy off-white medium head. Dense malty aroma, slightly toasty and herbal hoppy. Soft toast-malty taste with cinnamon/almond biscuits; dry malty and slightly bitter herbal hoppy finish. Absolutely not a world shaking Dunkel, but quite fine in a decent way.

(bottle) Clear and dark mahogany colour with a mid-sized but diminishing foamy brown head. Sweet nose of roasted malt with caramel and strong notes of liquorice. Moderately sweet and moderately roasted malty taste, light bodied, smooth mouthfeel with shy notes of dark chocolate. Dry and soft hopbitter finish with liquorice. Pretty drinkable but a bit slim Schwarzbier.
