Bottle from Edeka getränken in Tittling (D). Color: Lightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Malty, fruity notes. Taste: Malty, subtle fruity notes, bread. Grainy hints. Moderate sweet, light grassy hopbitterness in the background. Medium body, average carbonation. Refreshing. Nice Kellerbier.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange-brown amber, yellowish off-white head. Aroma: Malty, yeasty, subtle banana. Taste: Malty, wheat and barley. Slightly sour, hints of citrus, moderate sweet, light bitterness. Subtle notes of banana. Spicy hints. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice.

Aldersbacher Maibock, Flasche vom Biermeister, Berlin-Schöneberg. - Wohl mein letzter Bock vor dem Herbstanfang - jetzt verlangt die sommerliche Hitze nach leichteren Bieren. - Tiefes, beinahe dunkles Goldgelb, fast klar. - In der Nase bocktypisch schweres, fettes Malz, dem eine kernige, gedämpft zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe von leiser Schärfe Profil verleiht. - Antrunk wuchtig und fett hellmalzig mit fein karamelliger Honigsüße, perfekt austariert durch kernige zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. Satte Malzsüße ringt mit unverkennbarer Saphir-Hopfung. Milder rezent, schwer; leiser wärmender Alkohol. Im Abgang leicht trocken und sehr aromatisch hopfenherb. - Wuchtiger, fett malziger aber auch intensiv gehopfter Maibock, frisch, kernig und mit Tiefgang. Ein Bier von besonderer Güte und ein würdiger Abschluß der Bocksaison. (11.7.2023.)

Bottle picked up from the brewery and consumed at home Thursday 6th July 2023 listening to Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant on 6Music after a very nice meal over at Hotel Ostermeir, Gütlsdorf. Pours mid brown, murky with an off-white head. Malty, wheaty and with a tanginess, it's a good beer.

Von der Brauerei hatte ich mehr erwartet. Dieses für den amerikanischen Markt gebraute Bier ist eine wässrige Suppe 🍲 ohne viel Hopfen oder Malz. Damit mag man Bud Light Konkurrenz machen, aber german Braukunst ist das nicht. Das kann die Brauerei weitaus besser.

0.5 l can shared with Ogi who brought it from Slovenia. Clear golden, medium white head. Light grainy, cardboard and sweet malts aroma. Light body, thin, slightly sweet, light to moderate carbonation. Soft bready flavour. Light finish.
