Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 07/03/2026.
Clear golden topped with a lasting just off white head.
Nose is pale malts, herb, hedgerow, dull fruit esters.
Taste comprises bready malts, straw, grains, herb, fruit rinds, sultanas.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Okay if a touch overly sweet.

0,5 l, bottle.
Pours clear gold, with a really thin, diminishing white head.
Nose is sweet, a bit of malt, maybe bread. Flavor is also sweet, a bit fruity.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Different label now (see pic). Clear amber. Thin semi sticky just off white foam. Toffee malts. Cracknel. Leafy hop. Some sour fruit. Taste is sweet and vinous. Some bitterness. Bit of an earthy tobacco leaf thing. Pretty full bodied and sticky. Vinous and dry finish.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Completely different label now. Clear pale gold. Sturdy white foam. Bready and light on the malts. Some peppery hop leaf. Taste is light sweet with decent bitterness. Drinks easy. Light bitter finish. Solid.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Surprisingly cloudy pale to medium gold. Thin lasting white head. Nose has sweet grain. A bit worty. Minimal hop presence. Taste is fairly sweet overall. Touch of grassy earthy bitterness. Sweet finish. Weird.

11th February 2026
Near clear gold beer, small tidy pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light smooth malts, sweet enough, a touch of German nuttyness. Light pine and super mild soft citrus hop. Mild floral bitterness. Soft finish. Not bad. Could use another hop or sack of em.

Wunderbar weich.

Bottle picked up from Apfel Getranke, Moosburg and consumed at home Sunday 30th November 2025 after a fab' few days in Frank in Freising and München, including watching Bayern Munich v St Pauli. We're listening to shoegaze and later cooking Nidi di Tagliatelle al forno (baked pasta nests). Pours mid amber with a white head. This is very much in the UK style of IPAs so more toffee and caramel fighting to assert themselves amongst the more subtle bitterness and more restrained hoppiness, however very nice to have the contrast with this and the Camba West Coast IPA. It's good but a West Coast will almost always win out for me if it's done well.
