Op tap bij Roppelt Keller. Ging er goed in na 11km wandelen. Troebele, diepgele kleur, witte kraag. Banaan, gist, tarwe, citrus, in de verte zelfs wat grapefruit, ondanks de overdaad aan gistsmaakjes erg fris en doordrinkbaar. Lichte body. Lekker.

Tap at Hopdog. Hazy pale golden, white lace. Grainy, light buttery nose. Medium chewy mellow, creamy, cake malt base, light buttercream, grassy, light citric finish. To be tried again.

Hazy, pale gold with a foamy, white head. Aroma is the highlight, banana to be sure, but also a candy and pear/apple mix that makes pleasant sniffing. Taste is mildly bitter with a fermented, almost rancid character that doesn’t sit well with me. Finishes the same, and a bit watery. Body stays fairly light, moderate carbonation. Bottle still a month out from expiration, and aroma is great. Maybe it’s the extremely yeasty character that’s not sitting well with me.

Ceramic mug at the Roppelt-keller, of course! Thanks Joakim I think. Green apple wafts a bit from the aroma backed by some caramelly maltiness. Smooth, light, pleasant taste, caramelly and lightly grainy, not much hoppiness noted. Lightly flawed but quite decent!
