Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden. It opens like a bottle of Champagne. Steady bubbles even after the head has receded. Nose - wood, funk and with light red fruit and an edge of orange too. Taste - funky and toasty oak, coconut and orange. Palate - medium bodied at least. Long sour texture going through the middle into the dry, lean, sour finish Overall - yeah, lovely beer.

440ml can Sophies Beer Store. Pours dark, thick tan head. Prominent cinnamon on the nose, alongside thick dark malt, cocoa. Taste continues along similar lines, medium to heavy bodied, nicely balanced cinnamon presence, good layered dark malts, vanilla and chilli both don't seem to have a huge presence, but drinks well overall with light creamy textures. Good stuff.
