Can. Pours clear black, medium beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is malty, toffee, earth, leather, a bit of ashtray. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Nice

Single from Whole Paycheck. Pale gold lager, clear, unlike the lime. Bigger, but faulty head. Really pleasant nose of watermelon rind, lime & weak green chilis over a bag of corn chips. Bitters, peppery corn, really nice & bittersweet watermelon rind, veg ruffage, corn chips, salt. Crispy, slightly astringent, thin, big acid. Great

Single from Whole Paycheck. Rare Vos glass @home. Weak froth, jellied pale gold lager. Strong lime rind, soap, bitters, faint floral, corn, steel. Taste is bittersweet, still strong lime rind, grass, veg, salt, subtly sweet peppery corn chip finish. Frothy, acidic, middling dry. Okay to good, but this should be way cheaper.

Can at home. Rich gold and slick looking brew and some puffy white head. Nose is honey and light toffee. Tastes of malt, honey, grains, touch of toffee. Sweet feels like more booze than 6.4%.

Starts off with an unexpected strong grainy sweetness before developing earthy, herbal green tea notes. Finishes with a mix of tea, white bread, and a slight floral bitterness. Good, but never offers up the spicy Noble hop fade you want in a pils.

Found an older rate, notes from 8/12/18. Can from Tasty Beverage Co., Ommegang glass pour. Canned 6/18/18. Cloudy, grapefruit-colored brew. Thin, pasty white, failing head. Smells of generic melon, grass, wheat, yeast. Maybe something hinting at guava, but it’s probably just the color. Couldn’t tell that this was made with strawberries. Creamy, pasty, pasta water texture; not pleasant. Does taste faintly guava-ish, maybe like watermelon rind, but it’s mostly just goopy, melted carbs & water. A touch of bitterness & a light sparkle tricks me into third & fourth sip of porridge. Up the bubbles & maybe it’s worth a shot. 6/7/27 rate: 3.1. Single can from Appalachian for more than it should be. Mojito glas @home. Looks like Rosé with a better head. Orange-y, peachy pink & absolutely clear. Earthy, sticky, raisin & Fruit Roll Up nose. So hard to do Strawberry anything. Heavy sliced toast flavor upfront. Black pepper & some bittersweet strawberry perfume. Light tartness, weak herbal hops, old malt/musty, cheap wine. Should probably be a 12oz. Strawberry wine is dope, this isn't. Opinion: Just cut Brutus half & half with some local sweet strawberry wine & carb the hell out of it. This one isn't working.

Single from Appalachian. No date, fuck you. Mojito glass @home. Extra frothy, pale gold pour. Bittersweet rind & flour nose. Slurping up the excess head & it's wowing me with mandarin. An actual slurp gets me onion, orange essence, dried oregano, popsicle stick, white toast, flour. Slight ghost punch of orange-onion acidity. Weak herbal finish. Empty body, bitter lemon water tingle. So diluted. Not worth saving 40 calories.

6.4% Batch 6, feb 23 Bottle from my wife. Goblet @home. Hazy, dull watermelon-grape sort of color. Ample, frothy, pale pink head. Sweet n sour nose: Rich muscadine & plum, floral, soft pickle & melon rind. Twangy plum, sweet muscadine/melon, stone pit astringent, lacto, salty tart, lime-y margarita finish. Frothy, slick, sidra funk. Would like to thin this out & increase the abv. Lots of flavors here. Gets better the next day.

Can from Appalachian. Pint glass @home. Milko pour. Dirty orange-grey hazy. Smell is herbal at first, grassy hops, green strawberries, floral soap. Soapy, earthy, lingering veg & onion, unripe strawberries. Very regurgitive. Zero brightness. Medium acidity, bittergreen, bit of indigestion. Not this time.
