Description
You can come get to know our beers and the people behind them at either of our two locations.

Our original brewery on Lincoln Avenue is home to our Brewery Shop, where you can sample or purchase to-go, and a Tap Room, where you can stay, get a bite to eat and get to know who we are and what we do. You can now also visit our new brewery, on Balmoral Avenue, where we have a beer garden in nice weather and a completely separate food program.

Both locations offer perennials Daisy Cutter, Bodem, Pony Pilsner and Tuna plus plenty of small batch beers released weekly.

Sampled from the growler on the way to MiSBF, thanks to the kind sole who brought this. Poured a clear gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was quite grassy with some hay and a hint of underlying pine. Flavor was quite similar with the main note being grass and hay and pine backing that up.

Bottle. Pours a near clear light orange gold with a white head that lasts and laces nicely. Aroma is nicely balanced between sweet grains and pine hops with just a slight underlying fruit note, perhaps some grapefruit. Flavor begins malty with some sweet and non sweet grains with pine hops and a bit of underlying fruit.

22oz bottle pours a totally, clear yellow with a thin, creamy white head. Very hoppy, floral, resinous aroma, candy too, orange zest, grapefruit zest. Flavor is bitter, lemons, grapefruit zest, limes, hardly any maltiness. Bone dry finish. Very aggressive.

Shaker pint draft at The Beer Bistro in Chicago, Illinois. Pour is a hazed orange golden with a slightly off white 1/2 inch head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is fresh, pine resin hops, along with a grainy earthiness. Fresh, clean and engaging nose. Taste is the dry resin and orange peel hop bitter, followed close behind with a grainy maltiness. Mineral in the finish, crisp and dry finish showing a bunch more of the pine. Palate is light bodied, and features the mentioned dry finish. Very easy drinking, nice one.

On tap. Pours a clear gold with an amber hue with a fluffy white head that laces thickly and lasts. Aroma has note of pine hops with a nicely balanced grainy malt note. Flavor begins with a light pine that is taken over by a nice sweet malt finish.
