Bottle - dark gold pour with some giant-ass floaties - fairly decent head/lace for the strength - not sure what malts were used here, but their character is expressed well - sweet, earthy, peaty, bready - think I’m tasting some Golden Promise character in there - bottom line: nicely British malt expression - alcohol presence combines with the barrel treatment to create a pretty boozy experience after the initial approach - that mellows out a bit as it warns but never totally dissipates - lingering earthy malt expression finishes - a mixed bag.

12oz can from Tavour. Clear golden, small fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet, light dank hops , fruity, stone fruit. Taste is enters with some light sweet malts, hops appear in the back ground, and then subtley take over, fruity flavors at first, dank notes, then bitterness. This is pretty sneaky, opeingin with a whisper and ending with a scream.

Can - totally clear light gold - a dank and resinous more “classic” DIPA - quite dry for the strength, with a zesty, citric, and peppery bitterness - tropical finish - dry and biscuity on the tail end, with a slight warmth, but still really drinkable for the strength - I like.

12oz can from Tavour. Clear golden pour, wispy white head. A whiff of sweet malts gives way to light citrusy notes, floral, hops. Taste brings more sweetness, notes of vanilla, orange peel. Resiny, oily feel. Never had the Zappa hop before, but it seems to add some interesting characteristics. Can't put my finger in the flavor. ABV not very evident.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours dark, clear mahogany with some tan swirls for head. Aroma of brown sugar and dark prunus fruits. Arguably full bodies. Flavor is brown sugar, dark prunus fruits, and something like floral hop. Not all that sweet; something is providing a balancing bitter. Could be heat. Very nice sipper.

Bottle - black pour with an insubstantial lace - nose is strong of whiskey, oak, some umami and smoke - flavor is heavy on whiskey flavor and heat - I honestly don’t even pick up coconut - chocolate, smoke and some dark fruit late - booze calms down in the finish - not one of their best, but decent even so.

12.7 oz. Aroma has notes of dark bread, dark chocolate, nuts. Pours cola dark brown with a thin beige head that falls into a ring pretty quickly. Taste is mildly sweet with significant bitterness; finishes dry. Not bad.

can. slightly hazy gold color with a medium white head that has crazy lacing and great retention. The aroma is medium in strength with pineapple and pine. The taste features bitter pine and sticks. The palate is medium. Finishes medium. This beer is way too damn medium.

Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is more of your old school pine and grapefruit hops. Flavor is pretty ,uch the same pine and grapefruit with a whole lotta bitterness on the back end. Nothing groundbreaking but a pretty decent old school IPA.
