12.7 oz. Aroma is wet stone, peppers, dark chocolate. Pours black with some immediately collapsing tan foam settling into a bubbly ring. Taste has a faint sweetness, moderate to high bitterness, and quite a bit of pepper heat--much more than the hint suggested on the label. This is fine by me, as a love a nice pepper burn in these types of beers. It finishes with a long dry bitterness and lingering pepper burn. Not bad at all.

Bottled 2018, batch 2, 99 cases. It's mad boozy, sweet, mellow malt roast, gnarly booze.

12 ounce can with a label on it saying 12.7 ounce - bottle shortage due to Coronavirus? - quite possible - well, if we’re going to endure a pandemic, we might as well do it tipsy on imperial stout - boiled for 8 hours, this thing is super roasty and smoky - surprisingly dry but rich - a lot of smoke and espresso - some dried cherry and berry character - creamy texture - some underlying vanilla sweetness before a deeply bittersweet finish of coffee and baker’s chocolate - it’s pretty darn good.

12 oz can from Tavour, 2/28/20. Canned 2/5/20. Golden-orange with an off-white head and streaky lacework. Pineapple, cocomut, and lactose. Some melon as well. Drinks sweet, almost pina coloda-like. Mild bitterness. Really bright and refreshing, but also, slightly too sweet, and mildly cloying. Hides the ABV great. Dangerously drinkable. Overall, I quite enjoyed it. 8/4/7/4/16

Drinking the Triple Chili version 9.6%. Very well Done underlying beer, the spice is acceptablely mild yet strong. A little too black peppery for me, but it’s a very good beer. River north denver
