Bottle at London Drinker BF 07. Sour. Ruby dark colour with beige head. Lasting bit of smoke and sour dark fruit aroma. It’s alright. Some sour damson fruit. Bit thin in mouth. But otherwise it’s a sour fruity stout.

I don’t know what I was expecting; I guess something with more of an English or imperial stout character. This is a good dry stout. There is a roasted character in the nose as well as fruit and malt. Dry, vinous quality, here some English character is showing through. Low carbonation, and a very dry finish. Tasted at Gollem, Amsterdam.

Bottled. Hazy brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is metallic and slightly hoppy. Bloodlike as Marsiblursi puts it may actually be even more correct. Flavour is also the same. Not very exciting... Also some notes of alcohol.

Bottled. Cloudy dark amber. Metallic nose. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel and a highly disturbing metallic blood flavour combined with ash, and what’s that?Uranium? Burning sacharine finish.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown with sediment and floating chunks, the head was thick light brown and creamy. The smell was sweet fruit and roasted malt aroma. Flavor was sweet chalky roasted malt but somehow left a bitter tart finish.

Murky brown brew with lots of sediment chunks and a light brown head. The aroma is of caramel and fresh wheat bread. There were lesser amounts of dark fruit, vanilla and alcohol too. The flavor reminds me of a good Baltic Porter except not as sweet and with the high level of carbonation the flavors were a bit brighter. I taste caramel, chocolate, a bit of vanilla, dates and hiding somewhere in there I sense some tart grapes. Good stuff.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Hazy golden, small head. Lemony vegetable aroma. Sweet and perfumy with light body and clean mouthfeel and dry finish. With an interesting and unusal spicyness, but also with an unpleasant touch of boiled vegetables and a too clean mouthfeel.

Bottled. Orange golden colour, small white head. Aroma is strong fruit, earth and ashes in aroma. Some herbs and spices also noteable. Flavour is glueish fruits along with spices and herbs. A very different beer, surprising flavours. Refreshing and interesting, but flavourwise I didn’t like it too much.
