Aroma: The nose is coffee, some malts, chocolate, fruity notes, and plenty of hops as well
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color, a brownish head, and similar colored lace
Flavor: The taste is as you'd expect, rich coffee malts, and plenty of hop bitterness for balance
Palate: The body is medium, maybe leans a touch light for the style, with a clean finish
Overall Impression:
LYRICS TIME!:
Some people call me the space cowboy, yeah
Some call me the gangster of love.
Some people call me Maurice
'Cause I speak of the pompitous of love
People talk about me, baby
Say I'm doin' you wrong, doin' you wrong
Well, don't you worry baby, don't worry
'Cause I'm right here, right here, right here, right here at home
'Cause I'm a picker, I'm a grinner
I'm a lover and I'm a sinner
I play my music in the sun
I'm a joker, I'm a smoker
I'm a midnight toker
I get my lovin' on the run
You're the cutest thing that I ever did see
I really love your peaches, want to shake your tree
Lovey-dovey, lovey-dovey, lovey-dovey all the time
Oee baby, I'll sure show you a good time
Really, there isn't much more to say. I speak of the pompitous of love, but you already knew that. There's more coffee, and less of a hoppy flavor than its lighter brother Dream of the 90s, but this one is also really good, and I can't help but rate them the same. Shout out to the one, the only, the great: Steve Miller Band. I feel like I'm becoming a Peekskill fan-boy at this point. It is getting ridiculous at this point.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is citrus, floral, and pale maltiness. Taste is pretty flavorful. It ain’t too bitter, but the hops are nice and flavorful. Well-balanced. Not too crazy. Pleasant.

Aroma: The aroma has lots of tropical fruit, pine, and resin, with some clean malty undertones
Appearance: The pour is hazy golden-orange color with a small head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly hoppy as well, with some nice bitterness, and a clean, light sweetness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a clean feel, soft carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was an excellent APA. It has the hoppy feel of an IPA with the easy drinkability of an APA. Excellent stuff.

Location: Cask at the Brewpub, 9/20/13, IPA Rating #350
Aroma: The aroma is a nice mix of fruity and resiny hops with rye bread and grainy malts
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden color with a small head and minimal lace
Flavor: It has a nice rye and hop flavor, similar to the nose, with a clean, bitter finish
Palate: The body is clean and drinkable, and the smooth cask feel plays well on this beer
Overall Impression: It is pretty unsurprising at this point, but I thought this was tasty. This one is clean and easy drinking, and it has a smooth feel. I liked it quite a bit.

On tap @ The Gingerman, New York. Pours hazy yellow, with a creamy finger thick head. Aroma is quite tart, with yeast, citrus and hay. Medium body with a rather thin texture, and normal carbonation. Flavour is lightly tart with lime, hay and grass with a short finish. Easy drinking, but a bit boring.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 9/20/13, as Dream of the 90's (I think it is the same beer)
Aroma: The nose of this one is roasted malts/coffee and citrus hops
Appearance: It pours an unclear amber color with a small beige head and some lace
Flavor: The taste is roasty up-front, but it becomes more bitter and hoppy in the end palate
Palate: This one has a clean mouthfeel, medium feel, smooth on the mouth, and a little dry
Overall Impression: This was an enjoyable beer. I thought this mix of the components worked nicely to compliment one another, and the underlying beer came off as nicely made. I might be a bit of a broken record here, but another very nice one from my trip to Peekskill.

Aroma: The nose is yeasty and spicy, some nice funk, and some hoppy notes as well
Appearance: It pours a hazed orange color with a white head and some thick lace
Flavor: The funk and the spice come through nicely, mostly brett, pepper, and fruity hop notes
Palate: The body is light-medium, and it has a very nice, clean mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This was another winner on our trip to Peekskill (at this point I was 2 for 2, but it got a lot better). I really liked what they did with this one.
