4 oz taster at Churchkey in Washington DC. The pour is hazed golden yellow with a smallish off white head. The aroma is slight fruit sweetness, lemon citrus peel, faint spices, and a touch of wheat grain. The taste is fresh, quite a bit of orange fruit and peel, along with the wheat grain all brought together with the spice. Nice flavors. The palate is medium bodied, un filtered mouth feel.

Location: Draft at Ginger Man, 4/12/13
Aroma: It has a nice, clean hop nose to it, with plenty of tropical/citrus fruits and some some malts
Appearance: Clear orange with a thick froth of lasting white head (the kind that gives ya a stache)
Flavor: This one has plenty of hop flavors, similar to the nose, fruity, a bit sweet, and plenty bitter
Palate: Excellent mouthfeel, smooth and clean, super drinkable, and has a soft carbonation
Overall Impression: I thought this was a really effective example of an IPA. Dead on for the style, I really found nothing not to like about this beer. Really well done.

Aroma: The nose has some clean malts, hops, a bit of fruit, some spice, and wood
Appearance: It pours a clear rusty amber color with a small off white head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, lightly bitter, and also just a little bit tart
Palate: It has a fairly soft feel on the mouth, that drinks cleanly and pretty smoothly
Overall Impression: This was a pretty interesting beer. It has a good flavor, and it is also pretty easy to drink. I didn't have any complaints.

Location: Draft at Bling Tiger, 4/8/13
Aroma: The nose is light, it has some lightly sour yeast and some fruity notes
Appearance: The pour is a hazed gold color with a small white head and mild lace
Flavor: The taste is a touch more sour than the nose, sweet too, with similar components
Palate: The body of this one is fairly light, clean, and tingly, it doesn't get watery at all
Overall Impression: I thought this was a nice, clean sour. It isn't overly tart, but it hits the style well enough. It is crisp and clean, plenty drinkable, bright and refreshing. Nice stuff.

On tap at Churchkey for CBC. Poured a real hazy yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was some grain, lemon, light pepper. Flavor was lemon, pepper. Was really hoping for a bit more of the brettanomyces. Perhaps with some age this one would get real funky. Is there more of this around?
