50cl bottle from the Tatton estate shop. Bright amber with a thin cream head; pleasant malty aroma; crisp citrus taste to start with a smooth malty body; and a gentle but lasting grassy bitterness. A rather good bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Sweet aroma of honey, spice and floral hops. Flavour had plenty more honey, some grainy malts, green tea and a dyish finish. Unusual.

Old style ale, rich fruitiness and certainly a stronger looking than its ABV value.
