50cl bottle from the Tatton estate shop. Bright amber with a ring of white head; a touch of farmyard in the aroma; full and rich with some apricot fruit to start and a smooth malty body; and a gentle but lasting herbal bitterness. Another rather good beer from Tatton.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Sweet aroma of honey, spice and floral hops. Flavour had plenty more honey, some grainy malts, green tea and a dyish finish. Unusual.

Old style ale, rich fruitiness and certainly a stronger looking than its ABV value.
