Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, as Clay and Chelsea’s Wedding Ale
Hazy blond color. It has a delicate and very nice fruitiness, with dynamic body, moderate sweetness, but so the typical North American lack of Belgian character and depth, although this one at least has some spices: coriander and infinitesimal cloves.
Overall, I dig it.

650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy turbid yellow brown with light head. Aromas of cloves and toasted pumpkin seeds. Flavors of a creamy light pumpkin pie with a doughy crust, plus a sweetness from the pears. Maybe better than the million other pumpkin ales out there this year but I still don’t get it.

Draft - Dark malts, raisin, bread and toffee. Cloudy brown with a rich brown head. Clove, mint, molasses, dark malts, raisin and more. Really nice, I think this is a winner.

Draft - Chocalate malts with hints of coffee, nuts and vanilla. Jet black with a brown head. Tastes just like it smells which if I didn’t know better would think this is a porter. So much dark roasted flavors make this a great beer, but I don’t get the Dunkel.

Cask - Sweet honey, roses and goodness I can't be bothered to describe. Hazy peach and no head. Apricot , alcohol, sweet with a bitter finish. Too sweet and weird balance with the bitter finish, not my cup of tea. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
