Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours amber with a slight haze and a dense and creamy yellowish head leaving some lacework. Fat, rubbery Bamberg smoke in the nose. Medium body, some sweet malts and a distict smokiness. Ends fairly bitter. Solid craftmanship. 200111

330ml bottle from Alko Arkadia
Pours black with massive and foamy tan head. Great aroma, roasty and has hints of chocolate and coffee. Taste is a bit too sweet for my taste, but has a very nice roasted palate. Great, but a bit unbalanced imperial stout.

Bottled. Clear amber color, medium head. Aroma of malt, lovely smoke like the german rauchs, bacon, hint of citrussy hop, burned wood. Dryish woody taste, sharp smoked (the good way), nice bitter touch that balances well. Good body. Lovely smoked beer like the traditional german smoked ones.

Bottled. Slight hazy golden color, short head. Soft aroma of banana and wheat, some dry hay. Bit sharpish taste, some wheat, hint of sourness, quite bitter for a weizen. Qutie dryish palate. Im missing a bit of creamyness. It actually could have used some more yeast, strangely enough.

Pour is a dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is lots of raisins and brown sugar. Flavor is a heavy raisin juice with some sugar and molasses. Tasty but very heavy with all the dark fruit showing up. Alcohol is no problem.

Thanks bierkoning!
Dark opaque brown color, small steady brown head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, herbal-hayish aromas, at first some barnyard. Full-bodied. Intensive flavor of licorice, alcohol, coffee beans, chocolate. Lingering licorice and alcohol in the aftertaste. Probably needs some ageing, but really interesting strong stout.

330mL bottle poured into a mini Duvel tulip. Yeah, this beer is a bit of a miss, maybe just way too young, may need more time. The beer has not come together, lots of alcohol floating around. Its spicy and lots of fruit, some muddled flavors. Just not cohesive, I can see a good beer coming out of this, elements are there but its messy now.

2010 edition, bottle from De Bierkoning. Deep brown color with little beige head, not highly carbonated. Aromaβs are malt, sweetbread & roast and hop-aromatic. Flavor is rather (but not overly) sweet, a bit spicy and roasty. Mild bitter finish. Rather nice.
