(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 6 Oct) Amber colour with frothy beige head. Fruity nose with earthy hops (lots of Goldings character) and dark citrussy notes (blood oranges). Fruity taste with dried fruit and nice notes of earthy hops. Rather sweet, but the lovely hop character makes it a nice one.

Cask Conditioned at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Hazy amber color, nice head. Malty example, with a hint of apple; strong ending bitterness. Above average (among cask bitters).

Keg, hand pumped
Light amber color, creamy head. Light malt aroma. Smooth, light malt and more caramel, with a quite nice hop balance at the end and a pleasant finish. Quite good...

Can: Poured an amber color ale with a medium white bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of floral malt with some fruit-like sweetness. Taste of floral malt is pleasant with some faint fruit-like sweetness and some slightly bitter finish. Overall this is a nice standard ESB that I wouldn’t mind revisiting again.

Das Bier erweckt von Anfang an einen muffigen Eindruck. Bitter-malzig mit einem komischen Unterton gefällt mir der Nachgeschmack ebenso wenig wie der Mittelteil. Treifft meinen Geschmack gar nicht. Test vom 9.9.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,4,4,3,10,3 - 4,25

Bottled(500ml). –Just another ordinary ESB. Clear amber coloured with creamy lasting white head. Aroma of malt and caramel with slight fruity notes and tobacco hints. Very smooth mouthfeel and light bitter finish.

On bottle at Tromsø Ølfestival 17 Aug 06. Cognac-like colour. A large creamy head. A sourish citric flavour. Some hints of caramel. A dry bitter finish. The overall impression is sourish. Refreshing and a bit different.

This was a weaker bottle conditioned ale. Bronzy brown color with nearly non existent white head from the bottle. The aroma is very light, slightly hoppy with maybe a hint of the light malt to come. The flavor is subtle and too simplistic to be great. The pale malt really shines through, but that’s almost it for flavor. No real malt to speak of, no floral/hoppy taste. I like bottle conditioned ales, but this one flew under the radar.

Cask, Handpump @ ...... , London. Amber coloured. Hazy. Off white head. Is floral and fruity. Has some herbal and caramelly notes. Is dry and has a nice bitterness in the end.
