Description
Two Roads Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by four friends who dreamed for years of starting a craft brewery. We foster a “road less traveled” philosophy in the beers we make and how we make them. In that spirit, Phil Markowski, our award-winning Brewmaster and 27 year craft beer veteran has created an extensive lineup that takes a unique twist on classic beer styles. Two Roads was named one of the ten best breweries in America by Paste Magazine and has won many awards including gold for Belgian Lambic style Ale in 2016 at the Great American Beer Festival.
Two Roads isn’t just the logo on our brewery building, it’s our philosophy. Life always seems to offer up two ways to go. It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way – in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers! Now our “road less traveled” philosophy is being brought to life in the beers that we create and how we create them.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle dated 01/07/2015. Aroma is fairly fruity and hoppy. Medium light citrus notes with a lot of pineapple, mango and peach. Moderate melon notes with light hop resin. Medium light malt notes with light caramel. Pours a moderately clear, golden orange with a moderately thick, somewhat small, white head that exhibits decent retention as it recedes to a thin film that lingers. Light lacing and medium small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with a definite caramel note and some pale malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness. Moderately strong hop notes but this time more grapefruit and resin. Lighter tropical fruit and stone fruit. Hint of alcohol in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium to medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low to medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent IPA but definitely not my preferred style. A little too sweet and malty without enough hops in the flavor. Onions, that is the aroma I was having trouble describing. This beer is a bit oniony in aroma and flavor; I like it, others won’t.

Geruch fruchtig, hopfig, grasig, etwas Aprikose, Getreide. Geschmack fruchtig hopfig, leicht süß, trocken, dezent bitter, gutes Pils.

750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Pitch black colour, large brown head. Very nice roasty aroma, dark malts, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, hints of liquorice and treacle. The flavour has some malty sweetness, but the roastiness is more in front. Espresso coffee, heavily roasted malts, some dark chocolate and black rye bread in the background, distinct hops in the finish. Great beer.

Flaska från Craftbeer/Galatea. En gyllengul, disig, frisk ganska fruktig lättdrucken IPA. Lite syrliga äpplen, lime, aprikos, vete och tallskott, lätt beska, bra balans, rena smaker. Trevlig.

At a tasting, thanks zvikar, medium and a bit gushing bubbly head, light cloudy yellow color, yeasty aroma with cheesy notes and a hint of glue, flavour of almond with some fruits, medium piercing, but quite pleasant sourness. Nice.

Arts and Crafts Beer Parlor, NYC tap: Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma is a whole lot of rye, a lot of dark chocolate, rough espresso, and burned malts. Taste is heavily influenced by the rye. It gives this a strong burnt flavor. The high alcohol, plus the burns, and substantial bitterness make this a veritable sipper.
