Pours a hazy straw from a bottle. Nose is of piney hops, with something vegetal in the mix. Flavor is a floral bitterness, but not overly hoppy or bitter like many IPAs, somewhat mellow end to the mouthfeel. Good beer.

Bottle. Golden-yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is hop, malt, coriander. Flavour is hop, malt, coriander, yeast, citrus, spices. Medium body. Easy drinkable beer. KRS 1508.14.

Pours mahogany tinged black into a shaker. Mocha head with excellent retention recedes to skim surface. Dark caramel and chocolate aromas. Soft with dark chocolate and espresso upfront turning to dark pit fruit. Lasting bitter resin and dark cocoa finish.

Can: Nose is banana, clove, pepper, yeast, bubblegum. Taste is bubblegum, banana, yeast, bread, cloves, a little straw in the slightly thin, to dry finish. Mouthfeel is fizzy and light. A decent beer.

12 oz bottle out of a sixer, via One Stop Market. Borderline black with ruby highlights. Aroma shows mild ashy char with a big pine needles and resin.
Mostly right on the mark for the style. Big pine hop influence with light hints of chocolate. Body is borderline thin with just a bit much in the carbonation department. One of the better offerings from this brewer but nothing I’ll go out of the way to grab again. I will not turn it down if offered.

750 ml bottle, stamp on neck reads 5/14/14. Murky brown color with flat carbonation. Aroma is odd to say the least. … Butter, weak bourbon and caramel, butter soaked raisins? Jeez, the flavor is sadly the same. Something must have went wrong with the base brew because a bourbon barrel beer should taste this buttery and sweet. What is the base beer style? I’m sorry but this recipe really needs to go back to the drawing board. Glad this was split 4 ways… 3 oz was enough

Bottled 5-14-2014: Thanks Adrien. This is a peach colored 1 finger head looks bottle carbonated but not quite sure. The nose is mildly yeasty, a slight pepper, raisin and persimmon with baked bread. Decent mouthfeel, creamy with some sweet creamed corn, finish is a sweet butterscotch caramel candy. Not a lot going on but not horrible.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Dusty resin and grapefruit aromas. Sweet caramel and resin front to back. Dry lasting grapefruit finish.
