On tap at Kichesippi, pours a clear bronze / orange with a small white head. Aroma is rather vile, with syrupy sweet caramely malt, subdued resinous hops, and maybe some butter — uh oh. Flavour is no better, with a sickly, syrupy sweet caramel upfront, with buried resinous hops and a touch of butter. Everything is going wrong here. Nasty syrupy sweetness dominated. This one is all kinds of wrong.

On tap at Kichesippi, pours a hazy orangey bronze with a small white head. Aroma is quite malty—smells pretty old school—with resinous hops and chewy caramel malt. Flavour follows through but with an awkward balance — there's resinous hops, caramel malt, and some spiciness. The hops and malt don't jive that well — you get lots of sweet caramel malt, with out-of-place astringent bitterness. This one needs some work.

On tap at Kichesippi, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is subdued, with dry bready malt and little else. Flavour is bland and boring, with dry bready malt, maybe some straw. Not much to this. Lame and boring, even relative to the style.

On tap at Kichesippi, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp biscuity malt and herbaceous notes. Flavour is crisp, with grass, herbaceous notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Has decent bite to it and a good herbaceous quality. Very solid.

Caramel and nutty aromas from the malts. Pretty clean, light-golden colour with a big frothy warm cap, good stay and full creamy lacing. Hints of candies come out in the nose after breathing. The taste shows the cereal malts with a tad hops. Enough to create decent some soft dryness in the end. Still, a little sweetness found in there, but at least not lingering. Some might be turned off by dandelions, but here it is well-balanced with the APA.

Pours a slight hazed (unfiltered at last pour), golden-orange colour with a frothy light beige-yellow head, good retention and many spots of foam left. Caramel malt base with the grassier hops on top, and hints of nuttiness and fruitiness. The mouthfeel is quite dry, lingering. The flavours are on the bitter side with grassiness, pine needles and a touch of roasted malt pulling through the caramel malts. Quite a nice BOOM in the face - for fans of West Coast Hopbomb.

Golden colour with a big frothy white cap, good retention and creamy-foamy lacing is left. Straw malt grain aromas with some mildly spicy hops and hints of berries. The taste shows the cereal malt base but the hops do take over quickly. Some nice grassiness, and a touch of spicy hops blend in. Quite a nice lower alcohol brew that has bite, but refreshes.

Lightly hazy, golden colour with a big creamy slightly warm off-white head, good retention, leaving some small patches of lacing. Getting some banana in the nose, so maybe lots of wheat in here. Also, citrus notes from the hops, over a caramel malt base. Again, wheat in the taste, but not too rich, as cut down by some decent hops that give it a dry finish. Hints of spices. Not a bad beer, but not like the steam beers I have had before.

Slightly hazy, light golden-yellow colour with a frothy white head, decent stay and leaving some patchy foam lace. Cereal malt base with hops that give a little spiciness like Saaz hops, and berry notes. The taste shows straw malt with the cereal graininess and light hops in the finish. This shows more grassiness for the style and dryness in the end. It is actually better balanced and easier to drink for a Mexican cerveza.

Beautiful aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and hints of dark fruits. Dark brown colour with copper highlights. A big creamy mocha-coloured head, very good retention and full creamy lacing. The mouthfeel is refreshingly wet, until it gets fairly dry in the finish. Quite a lot of bitterness in here from the grassy hops, right over the burnt barley base. A nice stronger, dryer, full bitter stout.
