On tap. Pours with a massive, creamy and long lasting, rocky white head with good lace. Clear golden body beneath. Aromas show a light graininess and noticeable sourness. Lightly bready, champagne grapes, poached pear, floral, and light clove phenols. A touch vegital as it warms. Flavors are tart, sour, floral and peppery. Lemon juice and poached pear notes. Bottle: Deep, deep amber coloured, fluffy off-white rocky head; moderate to solid dark-malty-toasty nose with a subtle fruitiness (dried dark berries) underneath; almost solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, soft; slightly lingering sweet finish with a delicate malt bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice winter-warmer......
