Description
We’ve lived, breathed and brewed beer since 1995 when our founder Colin Brown established Belvoir Brewery.
Brewing started in June 1995 based at 6b Woodhill Industries, Nottingham Lane, Old Dalby. The plant is a collection of redundant equipment from other breweries. Moved at the end of November 2007 to their current location at the same time upgrading to a 20BBL plant.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured almost black with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is light smoky malt, oats. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, light sweet with a rich creamy malt, coffee, dark chocolate palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation.

Bottle: Nearly clear, dark amber-reddish with a small beige head....bubbles on glass... Toffee, barley aroma. Taste is dry...toffee malt, with a mild leafy bitter. Very nice......a little tea-like in the finish.

Bottle: Nose is butterscotch, berry, not a lot of anything. Taste malt, touch of berrys faint hint of dark fruits which fade with the thin slightly metallic finish. Mouthfeel is poor. A bad beer.
