Description
We’ve lived, breathed and brewed beer since 1995 when our founder Colin Brown established Belvoir Brewery.
Brewing started in June 1995 based at 6b Woodhill Industries, Nottingham Lane, Old Dalby. The plant is a collection of redundant equipment from other breweries. Moved at the end of November 2007 to their current location at the same time upgrading to a 20BBL plant.

Half-pint at the 2014 Lincoln beer festival: based on the old ’Shipstones Bitter’ according to the CAMRA notes at the festival. Anyway it pours a light amber with a white collar. I found it a bit bland and uninteresting, mild blend of nothingness really. Not something I could recommend, just too watery in nature.

Fra cask på Hand and Heart, Nottingham 26 Jan 14. Ultradyp amber / svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum som etterlater litt lacing. Forsiktig kaffearoma. Smaken er svakt røstet & syrlig. Innslag av bær mot slutten.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear copper brown, quickly fading white head. Aromas are butterscotch, brown sugar, caramel. No discernable hop character. Tastes sweet too. Bit disappointing.

Cask at GBBF 2013. Very dark brown colour with an off white head. Fruity malt aroma. Medium sweet, notes of chocolate. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Roasted finish. This is a decent mild.

Mocno wytrawny finisz. Goryczkowy posmak. Aromat kwiatowy. Czerwono-miedziany kolor oraz niewielka piana. Gorycz jak na klasycznego bittera odpowiednia.

500ml Bottle: BBD end of Aug 2013, poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 13 Jun 2013. Looked good: nice red hue to its coat with a fine head of off-white bubbles to top it off. Malty nose, semi-sweet molasses, nuts on brown bread toasted. The taste was also semi-sweet and malty: again toasted malts, this time with a caramel feel to the flavour. Mild hop bitterness throughout the brew with a good balance if leaning heavily towards the malt side of things.
