750mL bottle, pours a very dirty looking orangey brown with a substantial beige head. Aroma of molasses, dark sweetened fruits, yeast, mild funk and heavy sweet malts - doesn't seem like a saison. Flavour of barnyard, molasses, dark dry fruits, some vinous notes, and yeast. Not so complex for a saison and seems a bit off-style. I'm not usually a fan of these darker saisons.

(bottle, 75cl) Hazy, yellow colour with a big and fluffy white foam. Citrus-fruity and moderately wheaty aroma with distinctive notes of grapefruit and a slightly piney touch. Mildly bitter flavour, sursprisingly slim bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Fruity wheat-character with present notes of grapefruit and resiny hops; dry-ish fruity and piney hoppy finish. A tad slim but very aromatic. 12.X.11

Bouteille: Golden, almost clear with a greenish haze, mid-sized white fluffy head, quite stable, moderate resiny-grapefruity nose, wheaty traces underneath; dryish bitter-sourish flavour, pretty light bodied; citrussy-resiny finish, followed by a slight tartness and a touch of wheat. Good.......

75 cl bottle @ home, bottled 27.01.2011, BBE 27.01.2015
Rather hoppy and fruity aroma with earthy notes and slight sourness and hints of caramel. Flavour is rather earthy and a bit tart with hints of caramel. Hoppy finish. Better, less hoppy and more earthy than I remembered.
